Nick & Catie

Nick and Catie

Nick and Catie first met in Bozeman, Montana, and quickly knew they had found their match. Their early days together were spent on the river, camping, and surrounded by friends.

In 2021, they packed up their lives and moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Over the next four years, their lives grew together and so did their family. First came Cedar, then Shorty, two pups who quickly became the center of their lives. Life in Eau Claire brought new rivers to fish, a first home to renovate, and lifelong friendships to cherish.

These days, Nick and Catie call the Northwoods of Wisconsin home. Despite multiple moves, new jobs, and different landscapes, they still spend their time on the rivers together, enjoying all the beauty Wisconsin has to offer. They can't wait to celebrate life's next journey with you and share a little slice of the place they call home with their loved ones.

Frequently Asked

What's the dress code?

BBQ Formal. Somewhere between dressy casual and semi formal. Think colorful sundresses, jumpsuits, collared shirts, dress pants, optional sport jackets. Bolo ties always encouraged.Check out our Pinterest board for inspiration.

Indoors or outdoors?

Both. The ceremony is outdoors at the amphitheater, cocktails and reception are under the tent, and dinner is in the dining hall. We have rain plans and plenty of indoor space if the weather has other ideas.

Can I bring a plus one?

We ask that guests only bring a plus one if their name appears on the invitation. If you're not sure, just ask us.

What about kids?

The wedding is adults only, but we understand some families may want to bring kids for the weekend. Please reach out and we'll work something out.

How do cabins work?

We'll assign cabins based on your RSVP preferences. Bunk style with bathrooms, showers, kitchenettes, and heat. Yurts have a nearby bathhouse. We'll group you with people you know.

What about meals?

Saturday dinner is catered. The rest of the weekend we'll eat camp style together with a little help from friends and family. Nobody goes hungry at camp.

What should I bring?

If you're staying on site, cabins and yurts provide the space but you'll want to bring your own bedding and towels. We'll have the lake, swimming docks, canoe races, and a sauna going all weekend, so come ready.

Is there cell service?

Barely. WiFi is available at the main lodge. Consider it a good excuse to be present.

Anything else?

Just reach out. We're happy to answer anything and want everyone to feel good about the weekend.
